spent a 1/2 day out with reubs yesterday at marina square. caught The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift which i ordered the tickets through internet booking. when we got there the queue was oh-my-freaking-god loooooong. dont know why so many people were watching movies there. even the snacks counter had 3 long queues! we were slightly late for the show, which turned out to be pretty nice but reubs said it was only okay cuz he didnt like drifting. he prefers those real racing ones, which explains his immense passion for F1.

dined at cafe cartel for dinner. there were small square papers consisting of whatever info lying on the table and a pencil for ordering our food. so while waiting i taught him how to play Bingo. i cant believe he didnt know how to play this game, no childhood! and obviously i won haha. food was nice and im totally satiated.

went for a stroll at waterfront. then we chose a spot and just sat there yakking away. i really like this new chinese song by nan quan mama- qiao qiao gao su ta, so i insisted on letting him hear it. i yanked out my ipod nano and with one earphone each, we listened to the song in silence. and i started to play those 'romantic' songs which i knew the lyrics, then sang to him. he kept telling me to keep quiet cuz of my COP in secondary school.

i also played more chinese songs like bu de bu ai and shan hu hai, and amazingly, he knew them all!!! turned out that his mates had been playing sappy chinese love songs in camp. lol.
